Serious health problems, injuries and illness require immediate care. When your pet urgently needs to see a veterinarian, Creedmoor Road Animal Hospital offers quality emergency and urgent care during regular business hours. We see dogs, cats, small mammals such as rabbits, hamsters, gerbils and ferrets. If you have other types of pets, call us and we can make a recommendation or referral.
While we understand you may not always be able to call in advance, if you are able to do so it will help our staff be prepared for your pet’s arrival so the animal gets needed medical care that much quicker. Our number is 919-781-0696.
Urgent care is available for serious but non-life-threatening conditions. If your pet needs to be seen for urgent care, the staff will work to “squeeze” you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.
If your pet has an emergency after hours, we recommend the following 24-hour veterinary hospital:
409 Vick Avenue
Raleigh, NC 27612
If you think your pet has eaten something poisonous:
Call us, or if after hours, contact the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center’s 24-hour hotline at (888) 426-4435. Trained toxicologists will consider the age and health of your pet, what was ingested, and then make a recommendation about what action should be taken.
We accept cash, checks, Visa, Discover, MasterCard, American Express, and Care Credit.
