For your convenience we have commonly needed medications on-site, so you do not have to make another trip to the pharmacy or wait for your prescription to arrive in the mail. As a small business, we hope you choose to support our business and shop locally.

If you prefer to have your medication delivered, we are also happy to be able to offer competitive options and prices through our online pharmacy. Clients who still wish to order through online suppliers or local pharmacies will need to pick up a written prescription for those medications to provide to them directly. We are no longer approving any calls, fax, or email orders from online suppliers or local human pharmacies. For more information on this, please check out our FAQs below.

Is your pharmacy cost effective?

We understand that cost is a big reason that our clients purchase from non-accredited suppliers. We do our very best to make our medications and supplements affordable and we routinely compare prices to online providers to make sure that we are competitive. By purchasing from our online pharmacy, you are supporting a local business here in Raleigh.

What is the difference between your pharmacy and an online supplier?

You have trusted us with the responsibility of your pet’s medical care. We know their medical history, and our doctors are here to provide the absolute best care to your pet. Because of the way non-accredited online suppliers operate, we cannot guarantee that a big box seller is going to act in the best interest of your pet or that a human pharmacist might convert or change our directions from a pet dose to a human dose. Our doctors need to know that the medications you receive are the exact medication they are prescribing in the proper dosage along with those prescriptions being stored and shipped as required by the manufacturer.

Why are you phasing out your relationships with third party online suppliers?

Our online pharmacy provides a simple solution for ordering guaranteed products for your pet to be delivered to your home from an accredited source, all while supporting a small business in your community.

Can I still get a prescription is my pet is not a patient of yours?

By law we are required to have a valid patient/doctor relationship to write or dispense a prescription. This means your pet will need to have a recent exam by one of our veterinarians to obtain a prescription.

We understand that there are many reasons that our clients may want to purchase medications from outside sources, and we want you to make the best decision for your pet. Our online store is an accredited and certified pharmacy. Because our online store is part of our clinic infrastructure you will not need a written prescription when you order. However, if you choose to buy medications from somewhere other than a certified veterinary pharmacy, we want to give you the option to do so as long as you understand the risks.
